Comforta is preparing for the flu wave
Every company is concerned about a member of its staff coming down with flu as global predictions are warning that up to 30 % of the population could fall ill with swine flu, that is, the H1N1-virus. In order to prevent cases of illness, Comforta's personnel have been asked to be especially careful regarding hand hygiene. Should a company employee catch flu, they are advised to stay at home and away from the workplace for as long as the flu symptoms persist. The company has developed a plan to ensure customer deliveries where the substitute procedure is such that deliveries can be made as punctually as possible, even under the conditions of an epidemic.
Ensuring textile hygiene
Comforta's quality control system guarantees the textile washing process is as hygienic as possible. Disinfection is ensured through monitoring of thermo- and chemical-disinfection conditions, as well as the textile handling environment. The instructions provided to Comforta's employees contain an RABC - Risk Analysis and Biocontamination Control and hygiene requirement in accordance with standard SFS-EN 14065. Internal audits are used to ensure compliance with the instructions.
